Commonwealth Games (Etairos Accounting & Finance)
Our office will be open as usual during the Commonwealth Games Period, however with slightly reduced staffing levels.
In line with Games directives for traffic management, we will have less client meetings but will be available for urgent needs or on request.The two key Games Event Sites near our Office is the Movieworld Precinct (Oxenford) that is hosting Squash, Table Tennis and Boxing and the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre that is hosting Gymnastics and Netball.
Commonwealth Games (Your Business)
As you would be aware, the Games Organisers see traffic management as a key factor in the overall success of event. Businesses like ours and yours have been encouraged to;
- have employees take leave during the April 4 to 14, 2018 period
- have employees work modified hours to avoid peak traffic period
- encourage alternate travel arrangements including ride sharing, modified routes, use of public transport, walk/bike travel (??)
- arrange delivery of non-essential supplies to arrive before the games (stock up)
- Reduce non-essential business travel if possible.
